What Is ISM?

The Independent Study and Mentorship Program (ISM)gives students in Frisco ISD the opportunity to research a topic of their choice while also educating the students on how to act in a professional environment. Students are challenged in this course to obtain a variety of research on various topics. Students then are counseled by a mentor, which allows them to gain more research and experience on their specific field of interest. My goal for ISM is to learn about dermatolgy, more specifically i wish to mentor with a physician assistant for a dermatolgist.
